Frequently asked questions
Does HOTEVOO guarantee the price will drop below my target?

No. Price Match is a monitoring service: HOTEVOO checks available market rates and notifies you if it finds a condition compatible with your target. Price movements depend on availability, seasonality and the hotel or booking site's policies — all beyond HOTEVOO's control.

Does HOTEVOO book automatically if it finds my target price?

No. When we find a compatible condition we send you an email with instructions. Booking is completed by you directly on the partner site (e.g. Booking.com, hotel website). HOTEVOO does not make bookings or charge any amount without your explicit confirmation.

How much does activating a Price Match cost?

Activating a Price Match monitoring is free. A payment method may be requested as confirmation of genuine interest: activation does not charge the card used. To keep more than one monitoring active at the same time an Esploratore plan is required.

How long does my Price Match request stay active?

You can choose the monitoring duration from 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. At the end of the selected period the request is automatically deactivated. You will receive a notification one day before expiry. You can deactivate the monitoring before it expires from your account.

What happens if the hotel I chose never reaches my target?

If no compatible condition is found by the expiry date, the request closes automatically with no charge. You can reopen the monitoring with a different target or explore other hotels with HOTEVOO — the price comparison might show you similar properties at rates closer to your expectations.
