Why hotel prices change

Hotel rates are not fixed. The same room can cost significantly more or less depending on the time of year, demand, how many rooms are left available and the pricing policies of the hotel or booking platform.

Manually tracking prices day after day is possible, but takes time and attention. HOTEVOO automates this process: just choose the hotel, set your target rate and let the system work for you.

Search and choose your hotel

Use HOTEVOO to search hotels by destination, dates and number of guests. Select the property you are interested in from the results.

Set a target price

Enter the per-night rate at which you would be ready to book. Choose the monitoring duration: 3, 7, 14 or 30 days.

HOTEVOO monitors for you

The system checks available rates. If a condition compatible with your target appears, you receive an email notification.

HOTEVOO sends you an email notification with instructions on how to proceed. Booking is completed by you directly on the partner site. No automatic booking.

Target not reached

If your target price is not reached by the expiry date, the monitoring closes. HOTEVOO may suggest similar properties at different rates.

Frequently asked questions
Do hotel prices really change that often?

Yes. Hotel rates vary constantly based on room availability, seasonality, demand and the commercial policies of the hotel or booking site. In some periods prices can change several times a day. Tracking them manually is possible but time-consuming: HOTEVOO automates this monitoring for you.

Does HOTEVOO guarantee the price will drop to my target?

No. Monitoring is not a price drop guarantee: it depends on market movements, hotel availability and factors outside HOTEVOO's control. The system only notifies you if a condition compatible with your target appears.

What happens if my target price is never reached?

At the end of the selected period (3, 7, 14 or 30 days) the monitoring deactivates automatically with no charge. You can restart it with a different target or explore similar properties through HOTEVOO. In some cases HOTEVOO may suggest alternatives at different rates that could come closer to your expectations.

Does HOTEVOO book automatically when it finds a compatible rate?

No. When we find a compatible condition we send you an email notification. You always decide whether to proceed with the booking, which is completed directly on the partner site (e.g. Booking.com or the hotel website). HOTEVOO does not make bookings or charge any amount without your explicit choice.

Does activating monitoring or Price Match cost anything?

Using HOTEVOO to search and compare prices is free. Activating a Price Match monitoring is also free. A payment method may be requested as confirmation of genuine interest, but activation does not charge the card used. To keep more than one monitoring active at the same time an Esploratore plan is required.
